When the Family Life Christian Centre (FLCC), a vibrant Church based in South East London intended moving to a 9,000 sq. foot three floored building, which they intended refurbishing into a first class religious and business centre, the Church Committee commissioned Inbox Project Management services to provide a comprehensive business plan.
We provided for the FLCC, a three year corporate plan which included moving into commercial areas of operation, and the plan set out the key programmes and projects to be undertaken. Within the strategic plan, Inbox Project Management services identified three main areas of operations i.e. conferencing facilities, a media centre and nursery provision.
With refurbishment and set up costs of £100K, the FLCC intended realising total sales of around £337K across all three ventures, generating a £43.3K profit within their first year of trading with an additional surplus of £21K from tithe offerings and donations from Church growth as a results of the move.
The comprehensive business plan was used to secure financial funding for the project from a major bank and provided a supplementary briefing note outlining proposed usage and potential revenues streams from the renting of offices located on the second floor at the FLCC new premises.
